You Can Listen Now
A few people have asked, so I wanted to mention that there’s now a Listen option at the top of my posts. (At least in the app. I don’t think it shows up on the web version.)
The voice isn’t mine. I actually tried recording them myself, but it turns out reading your own writing out loud is a different skill entirely. Maybe that’s a project for another day.
I’m generally a big fan of listening to things while driving somewhere, cooking dinner, working in the yard, or doing something around the house, so I’m happy to finally have that option available here too. For now, I chose a voice that felt closest to the spirit of what I write.
So if you’d rather listen while driving, walking the dog, folding laundry, or staring out the window contemplating your existence, the option is there.
