time. For years I taught classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. More recently, caregiving and life have taken center stage, and while I&#8217;ve talked about creating online yoga videos for quite a while, I never quite got around to it.</p><p>A few weeks ago I decided to stop talking about it and start recording.</p><p>This video is the first in what I hope will become an ongoing series of mindfulness based practices focused on nervous system regulation. I&#8217;ve also created a new section on Substack called Sacred Tremor Practice where I&#8217;ll be sharing yoga classes, meditations, and other practice based offerings as they become available.</p><p>I&#8217;m excited to finally begin sharing them with you!</p><div><hr></div><p><strong>Practice #1: Regulating the Nervous System, Part 1: Slowing Down</strong></p><p>This is the first practice in a series focused on nervous system regulation through mindfulness, breath, and simple movement.</p><p>The practices in this series are intentionally slow and uncomplicated. They are not designed to be workouts. Instead, they are invitations to slow down, pay attention, and cultivate a little more steadiness in the body and mind.</p><p>Each practice begins with a short movement meditation before gradually unfolding into a fuller sequence. The movements are accessible, the pace is gentle, and the emphasis is on awareness rather than achievement.</p><p>For those who enjoy practicing with music, I&#8217;ve also created a Spotify playlist to accompany this class.
